Job Description


Job Title:  HR Generalist


Brief Overview:  Handles overall HR related with a focus on Recruiting, Benefits, the onboarding Process


Job Description:  The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: 




  • Manages benefit plans, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.


  • Participate in various HR workflows (such as but not limited to I-9 forms, employees benefit programs, workers' compensation claims, unemployment forms, COBRA administration, etc.) by compiling, filing, and distributing appropriate electronic paperwork


  • Support the HR manager to implement recruitment strategies and interview process


  • handles ongoing internal and external people-related initiatives


  • ensures compliance with Federal and State legislation related to all Human Resources matters 


  • H1B, L1 visa support, green card, and Canada work permit support


  • Facilitation of critical organizational initiatives as well as implementing process improvements within Human Resources




Qualification:  The following skills and qualifications are required  for this position.




  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources


  • Working knowledge of HR practices with direct experience/expertise in handling payroll, benefits, and 401(k)


  • Demonstrated experience in providing proactive solutions to HR issues


  • Communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings, and foster an open, honest, and trusting environment, concisely, both in writing and verbally, and actively listen while gathering information


  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work


  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills in both Korean and English


  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)




The following skills and qualifications are preferred for this position:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field


  • Experience with the ADP Payroll Process


  • Direct experience with HR aspects such as recruiting, training/development, organizational planning, labor relations
