Responsibilities
We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Senior Product Data Analyst to join our Product team and drive data-informed decision-making across Katalon’s product suite. In this role, you’ll go beyond reporting - you’ll uncover deep insights, influence product direction, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to shape a world-class SaaS product.
Responsibilities include:
Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional teams (Marketing, Engineering, RevOps) to define, track, and refine key product metrics.
Lead deep-dive analyses on user behavior, conversion funnels, onboarding, and retention to uncover actionable insights.
Design, implement, and evaluate A/B tests to validate product hypotheses and measure the impact of new features.
Build and maintain self-serve dashboards and KPI reporting frameworks using BI and product analytics tools.
Ensure accurate event tracking by collaborating with engineering and product teams on data instrumentation (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude).
Drive product strategy by identifying growth opportunities, friction points, and user segments through behavioral data.
Communicate insights and recommendations clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Contribute to a culture of data literacy and experimentation across the Product organization.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics).
5+ years of experience in product or data analytics, ideally within a fast-paced SaaS or tech environment.
Proficient in SQL and Python/R for data analysis.
Strong experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Proven ability to run A/B tests and analyze experimental results.
Strong storytelling and communication skills - you can distill complex data into clear, impactful narratives.
Comfortable working independently and influencing cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.
