Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced RN for a Level II Trauma Neuro/Trauma ICU. This 12-bed unit operates with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio and specializes in caring for critically ill neuro/trauma patients, including those with ICP monitors, CRRT, and lumbar drains. The RN may also float to Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, or Med-Surg units as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a Neuro/Trauma ICU setting.
Care for patients with advanced monitoring, CRRT, and complex critical care needs.
Float to other units such as Cardiovascular, Telemetry, ICU/CCU, or Med-Surg when required.
Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of acute critical care experience.
Experience in Level II trauma critical care.
Current California RN license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
EPIC charting experience required.
Additional Information:
Night shift: 12-hour shifts, starting at 7:00 p.m.
13-week contract.
Holiday coverage required.
